There are lots of moving parts to setting up a brand new fibre internet service.
Of course, we first need fibre in the ground – and on that front, our field team is kicking goals, having gone past 10kms of duct and rapidly heading towards 11kms.
It’s not just duct, though – we also need fibre in that duct! Our fibre team is deep into the preparations needed to start laying our first fibre within the next fortnight, which will be a huge milestone in the history of Rural Fibre Co.
And at the back end, our rack in the Traralgon Exchange is now ready and waiting to connect our network into the wider internet world.
We anticipate connecting our first customers towards the end of November.
Hazelwood North, not long to go now!
